Cyberknife-2 completed

Today, I have had the final dose of my radiation to the periportal lymph node (the lymph node near liver) that carried a tumor. It was a hectic three-day dose starting last Monday. Phew, what a cruelty on my body! :( Of course, the strategy of taking Cyberknife (with the concomitant chemotherapy that would most likely start next Monday) is the best one in the sense that the tumors are attacked in the best possible way!

Now that the Cyberknife is over, I have to gear up now for another slew of cycles of chemotherapy! Though radiation does not effect in sever side-effects, I am wary and anxious to have the chemo drugs in my body because of the terrible side-effects that it would result :( I would never forget the chemical burns and tattoo-like marks left over on my thighs and legs resulting from the previous spell of chemotherapy. Nevertheless, the treatment plan is given and there is no option for me to fight that way against the disease! :)
